: Yankees to secure Lin's talent. The Bronx Bombers thought they had a deal with

: enough. Therefore, a deal -- believed to be worth $350,000 -- could not be
: finalized for Lin, who is represented by agent Scott Boras.
: Lin's reported deal with the Red Sox would be a record for a Taiwanese position

讓整件事情變得更有趣的,則是過去洋基曾經試圖簽下林.
洋基曾經認定已經和林在2010達成協議,當時林年僅16歲.
但是結局卻是年齡限制導致破局.
因此,
一紙據信價值三十五萬美元的合約,
最終還是沒辦法和林子偉-其經紀人是Scott Boras-完成簽約.
林和紅襪的合約將會創下台灣同位置的紀錄,據亞伯拉罕報導.
